Traffic in My City

I live in one of the bigest city in Indonesia, Surabaya is place in the East Java Provincion. If we talk about Surabaya is identic with the hot city and also crowded city. Moreover Surabaya have many problems about traffic it specially land traffic. A year ago, one of the traffic expert release his reaserch, he tell "If not any significant build traffic acomodation in five years, Surabaya will be like Jakarta right now". In addition streets in Surabaya have traffic jamp specially at 07.00 to 17.00.

The couses havy traffic jamp in Surabaya is follows: only one main road in the down town which conecting Sidoarjo City in the Southern and Tanjung Perak in the Northern, the other problem is so many private car becouse Goverment can't provide public transportation like Transjakarta in Jakarta city, and the other problem is the highway cannot acomodate a great nuber of vehicle anymore or the other words is "the highway is to narrow".

Few solve to overcome the traffic problems in Surabaya may be consider, first build the other highway to connect beetwen Sidoarjo to Tanjung Perak via Eastern of Surabaya, we may call "Eastern Ringroad", the second is build highway in the center of city, then build special transportation with bus and busway we may call "Trans Surabaya", and the other solution is optimice comutter train.

Finally, the conclutions of this writting is goverment much take measure to out from traffic problem, the solutions is: build new highway, build and optimice public transportation.
